What is Profiling or Psychometric Testing?
It is a method of quantifying the underlying abilities, interests
and work preferences of individuals. We use three types of tests,
ability, aptitude and occupational personality. They measure
a person's potential to learn the skills needed for a particular
job. A combination of several tests may be used to gain an objective
assessment of an individual.
Why are they
used?
Effective testing ensures that an organisation
or an individual makes informed decisions in relation to a wide
range of organisational and personal needs.
